i've had my s6 since april 2015. i've dropped it several times on concrete and it hasn't cracked. the battery life is still great too. it has to be one of the most solid phones i've ever owned. i will be upgrading to the s8 though because it's a lot cheaper now and has a SD card slot. one of my biggest quirks with the s6 is the storage space. 16GB is not enough!

I don't like the edge on the new Samsungs I think it is just plain foolish to not immediately put your phone in some sort of case and the bezel helps hold the case on. It's almost as if they're encouraging you to not use a case so you'll break your phone focusing on how pretty the body of the phone is, ignorant. I also don't care for that odd aspect ratio. My S6 is still going strong almost 3 years old, though the battery is always pretty weak.

Just ordered the s8 and have had s6 in 2 years. S6 has been a bright suprise to me. I feared so much about battery, water, slowness in the latter period. But everything has worked great for 2 years. Much better than my first smartphone s3 which became unmanagable after 2 years. I coudnt even charge the phone!
