Build quality feels more solid on Samsungs and their OLED is definitely better. But wide-angle camera, 16MP main camera, lighter, less buttons. I'm in love with my V30, selling my S8+

V30 is a good phone, but it's very easy for it to have black dead line ( vertical ) , me and my friend got the same problem, and lucky that he bought it locally covered by warranty , and I bought " parallel import " v30 from Europe, so I gotta replace the screen out of my pocket ( about $190 USD )

V30 reminded me of a diet Coca-Cola can besides the recordings and the video recording there's no comparison to the note especially on sales Note 8 kills it. Sorry I have both of them and got rid of it of v30 quickly

Great review. Looks a great phone.
For a 6” screen it doesn’t look that tall, really nice design. Wide Angle Cam, Quality DAC, Headphone Jack, SD Card, FM Radio, IP68 Water and Dust Resistance, Great Build Quality (MIL-STD-810G compliant) Bluetooth 5, Fingerprint Scanner, Wireless Charging… ticks so many boxes. Nice one.

LG V30 wins. Quad dac, Shock resistance, better battery, capacity up to 2000 gb, better fingerprint scanner placement, wide angle mode, much lighter weight, cheaper price, M3 T3 enhancments, more camera features, a smaller size. These are just to name a few, and all for a cheaper price 🔥

Ergonomics is not responsiveness fyi, its hand placement, positioning and comfort of the hold. Like ergonomics for your desk set up at work, should promote good spinal position and not forward head/rounded shoulders

I have always been Samsung loyal but my Note 4 (which I've had for 3 yrs but have taken such good care of it it's like new) just betrayed me and started boot looping so I'm looking for a change. I can not and will not pay 800 dollars for a phone.

I had the v30. I now have the note 8. Thank God my insurance didnt have a V30 to send me after my first one easily shattered after falling 2 feet. I had to settle for a note 8 and I realized I made the wrong choice originally
